Daytime skin care routine

step 1 : cleanse

 - Cleansing in the morning is helpful because overnight we tend to sweat, our skin produces more oil, and we may even drool a bit, which creates an environment for acne and one that may inhibit the absorption of your other morning skin care products.product

Step 2 : toner

- It is usually a water-based solution to provide another cleansing pass over the skin. Toners are typically recommended most to those with oily, combination, or acneic skin. They are fine to use on other skin types as well.

step 3 : exfoliate

🌱𝑬𝒙𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒆 (𝑾𝒆𝒆𝒌𝒍𝒚)- Proper exfoliation removes the barrier of dead skin cells clogging the skin and uncovers fresh new cells below.

Step 3 : treatment serum

Serums are thin, fast-absorbing liquids that are designed for the delivery of bioactive molecules into the skin. Starting with a vitamin C and hyaluronic acid serum in the morning as the first serum, can help with pigmentation issues, while the latter will help smooth the appearance of fine lines and hydrate the skin throughout the day.

Step 4 : moisturizer

- The next step in your AM skin care routine order is to seal them in with a moisturizer to help keep your skin balanced, hydrated, and plump. Not all moisturizers are made equal though, which is why it’s important to find one that works for your skin type.

Step 4: eye cream

- Generally, you leave sensitive areas to the end to give them more attention and should be treated with the lightest touch and clean fingertips. If your eye cream is richer and denser than your moisturizer, apply your eye cream after it. If it’s lighter than your serum, apply before.

Step 6: sunscreen

It is truly one of the best tools we have for preventing signs of aging—specifically hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles.

𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘯 - Let’s just say your skin has high standards!

If you have sensitive skin, you need to be extra careful with the products you use. Avoid common irritants like artificial fragrance, parabens, and sulphates, and use gentle products designed for sensitive skin.

Skip super hot water -

It’s best to stick with lukewarm or cooler water — particularly when washing your face. Try to get used to lower temps for your shower or bath. Your skin will thank you for it.

Go with gentle -

Many skin care products contain l-ascorbic acid, a form of vitamin C. If you’re going to use a vitamin c serum, make sure you choose one that contains Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (SAP), a gentler, less risky form of vitamin C that’s known for its nourishing, youth-enhancing properties.

Always use a moisturizer

Moisturizer is a key component when it comes to sensitive skin care. The proper natural moisturizer will help to protect and nourish your skin, and retain moisture so you’re more resistant to dryness and irritation. Look for ingredients like the aforementioned Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (SAP), aloe vera, vitamin B3, and other naturally-sourced ingredients.

Never skin sunscreen -

Sunscreen is mandatory! UV rays can cause sunspots, dryness, premature aging, and a whole host of other potential issues. Choose the right sunscreen and slather it on every morning. Remember to re-apply per the label instructions if you’re going to be out for longer periods of time or getting in the water.

Dry skin care routine

🌼 1. Cleanser

The first thing you should do is pick a moisturising cleanser. You want a cleanser that will remove debris and oil without irritating your skin's outer layer.

Hyaluronic acid, found in Cetaphil's Gentle Skin Cleanser and CeraVe's Hydrating Facial Cleanser, is a fantastic ingredient to seek for.

Toner

Alcohol is a common element in toners, which dries up the skin. Look for an alcohol-free toner with active components that will help your skin's pH balance.

Moisturize

A decent moisturiser helps seal in the serum's advantages. Use a moisturiser made exclusively for the face on a daily basis

"Facial moisturiser should be incredibly nourishing and moisturising," says Sparks, "but avoid anything that can clog your pores." Look for "noncomedogenic" on the label as a safe bet.

Skin care routine for oily skin

Step 1: Cleanse

Cleanse in the morning and evening.
Cleaning your skin is the most critical step in any skin care process.

" cleansing," is important because it's basic start of your routine

"While most individuals should wash their faces morning and night," Lee explains, "it's especially crucial for those with oily skin to cleanse their face thoroughly in the morning."

Even if your skin appears to be clean from the night before, Lee claims that your skin is busily shedding skin cells and creating oils during the night.

Step 2: toner

Make use of a toner.
After cleansing your skin and removing any makeup, grime, and oil, Lee recommends using an exfoliating toner that contains one of the following ingredients:

acid salicylic
lactic acid glycolic acid

Step 3: Take care of your skin.

This phase will be determined by your individual skin concerns. However, if you have acne, Lee recommends applying benzoyl peroxide or sulphur during the day to help reduce oil production and avoid breakouts.

Lee suggests using a retinol product in the evening to keep pores clear and skin shining.

BP Lotion, Sulfur Lotion, and Retinol Serum are some of her favourite treatment products from her skin care range.

Roc Retinol Correxion Night Cream, CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum, and Paula's Choice 1 percent Retinol Booster are some more popular over-the-counter retinol products.

One brief word for those with oily skin: Lee believes that those with oily skin are actually fortunate.

Step 4: Moisturize

Moisturizer in the a.m. and p.m.
Moisturizing is a very important step if you have oily skin.

“There is some belief that if you have oily skin, you don’t need to or shouldn’t moisturize,” Lee says. But this couldn’t be further from the truth.

“All skin types need moisturizer, but if you have oily skin, you should be more careful with what kind of moisturizer you’re using,” Lee says.

Her recommendation? Look for a moisturizer that’s:

lightweight
free of oils
water-based
Any moisturizer that’s formulated for acne-prone skin should meet these criteria.
