The name Anya belongs to a very special person in my life who served as the impetus for writing this song. Wahin. It came to be that I was having a conversation with some of the closest friends I've ever had when I began to feel a pang of longing for her and gradually let myself get consumed by thoughts of her. In the predicament of not being in reality while simultaneously being entirely present in her thoughts, in this really difficult predicament! There was a song that kept playing in my head called "Dil toh wahin hai wahin." And when I found that I could no longer hold this song, these lyrics inside of me, I went to my room. I shut myself in my room for two hours, and this song came out of it!
This song is around five minutes long, but if I had to summarize it in three words, they would be "I Miss You." If you are missing someone, maybe listening to this music would help you get over it. ~Mohit Gaur
